Pursuant to General Statutes of North Carolina, Section 143-129 as amended, sealed bids will be received for the following services: Contract Sludge Operations for Five Wastewater Treatment.

Bids will be received by the County of Brunswick until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2008, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Office of the Director of Public Utilities Administration, 20 Referendum Drive NE (Building G), Bolivia, North Carolina. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 17, 2008, in the Engineering Conference Room located in Building G at the County Complex in Bolivia.

All bids must be in a sealed envelope marked BRUNSWICK COUNTY SLUDGE OPERATIONS. Bids not so marked may not be considered and may be returned to the sender unopened. The bid should also clearly indicate the name and address of the firm submitting the proposal.
